Role Description The Accountant role at Priyanshu Raj Traders is a full-time, on-site position based in Mahua. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and updating ledgers, and managing daily entries for sales, purchases, expenses, and payments. The Accountant will prepare invoices, reconcile bank statements, track receivables and payables, and assist with monthly and annual closing activities. The role includes supporting tax and compliance reporting, generating basic financial reports, and coordinating with management on budgeting and cost tracking. The Accountant will also help improve financial procedures and ensure that all records are organized and up to date.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, including ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with accounting software or spreadsheets (e.g., MS Excel) and comfort working with numeric data.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
• Understanding of local tax and compliance requirements, or willingness to learn and apply relevant regulations.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with management, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Mahua, manage time effectively, and handle routine accounting tasks independently.
• Relevant educational background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; prior accounting or bookkeeping experience is an advantage.
