Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
1Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how JobCrexa ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our Platform as a creator. It is to be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and Creator's Platform Guide, all of which together form the complete agreement between you and JobCrexa.
By signing up for JobCrexa and accepting our policies, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not register or continue using the Platform.
This policy applies to all current and prospective JobCrexa creators and covers all information collected through the Platform, including information provided during registration, KYC verification, and day-to-day platform usage.
2Information we collect
Account information: Your full name, email address, mobile number, and password (stored as a secure, irreversible cryptographic hash — your actual password is never stored).
Profile & social information: Your creator handle, content niche/category, social media profile links (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc.), follower count, audience type, city, country, and WhatsApp group link, if provided.
KYC & financial information: To verify your identity and process payouts securely, we collect your PAN number, Aadhar number, bank account holder name, bank name, bank account number, IFSC code, and document images (PAN card front, Aadhar card front and back, bank passbook or statement). See Section 4 for why this is necessary.
Click & tracking data: When a user clicks a job link you have shared, our system automatically logs the click's IP address, device and browser information (user agent), timestamp, referrer URL, and geolocation (country/region level). This data is used solely to calculate your genuine clicks and applications and to detect fraudulent or bot activity. It is not linked to the individual job seeker's identity in any persistent manner.
Consent records: We record the date and time at which you accepted our policies (see Section 10).
Communications: If you contact us via email or WhatsApp, we retain those communications for support and dispute resolution purposes.
3How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create, verify, and manage your creator account and dashboard;
- To accurately calculate and credit your clicks, applications, and earnings;
- To verify your identity through KYC and to process payouts securely to your verified bank account;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, bot-driven, or otherwise artificial traffic;
- To send you transactional communications — account status updates, payout notifications, policy update notices, and security alerts;
- To comply with applicable Indian laws, including tax regulations (TDS), KYC obligations, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;
- To resolve disputes, investigate complaints, and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
- To improve the Platform's features, reliability, and fraud-detection accuracy.
We do not use your personal information to send you unsolicited marketing communications from third parties. Any platform-related communications from JobCrexa are directly related to your creator account and your use of the Platform.
4Why we collect Aadhar, PAN, and bank details
Your Aadhar number, PAN number, and bank account details are collected strictly for the following purposes:
- KYC verification: To confirm that you are who you say you are, prevent payout fraud, and comply with Indian financial regulations applicable to digital payment platforms;
- Accurate payout processing: To ensure your earnings are paid exclusively to your verified bank account and not to any fraudulent or third-party account;
- Tax compliance: Your PAN is required for TDS deduction and reporting as required under the Indian Income Tax Act where applicable.
We ask for KYC documents for the same reason a bank does — to make sure your money reaches the right person, securely, and that we meet our legal obligations under Indian financial law. We will never use your Aadhar or PAN for any purpose unrelated to identity verification and tax compliance.
Access to your KYC documents is strictly restricted. Only authorised JobCrexa administrators involved directly in KYC review and payout processing can access this data. KYC data is never shared with other creators, advertisers, or third parties for any purpose other than those stated above.
5Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including:
- Passwords stored using industry-standard cryptographic hashing (never in plain text);
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission between your device and our servers;
- Role-based access controls limiting internal access to sensitive KYC data to authorised personnel only;
- Regular review of our security practices and access logs.
While we take these precautions, no system is 100% immune from security incidents. In the event of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as described in Section 12.
6Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, under any circumstances.
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment processing: Your bank account details are shared with our banking/payment partners solely for the purpose of processing your payout;
- Legal obligation: We may disclose your information to government authorities, regulators, or law enforcement bodies where required by applicable Indian law or a valid legal order;
- Fraud prevention: In cases of confirmed or suspected significant fraud, we may share relevant information with our partner network or law enforcement agencies;
- Business transfer: If JobCrexa undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
We never share your personal information with advertisers, social media platforms, or marketing companies.
7Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your creator account is active, and for a period thereafter as required by law and for legitimate business purposes:
- Account & profile data: Retained while your account is active. Following account closure, retained for a minimum of 3 years for dispute resolution and audit purposes;
- KYC & financial records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years following the last transaction, as required under Indian financial regulations;
- Click & tracking data: Retained for up to 2 years for fraud detection and earnings dispute resolution;
- Consent records: Retained permanently as legal proof of your agreement to our policies (see Section 10).
After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
8Your rights
Under applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to access: You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- Right to correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., KYC and financial records that must be retained by law);
- Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by requesting account closure. Note that withdrawal of consent does not affect lawful processing carried out prior to withdrawal;
- Right to grievance redressal: You have the right to raise a grievance with our Data Protection Officer and to escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at adarshpandey@jobcrexa.com. We will respond within 30 days. Note that some rights may be limited where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as ongoing dispute resolution.
9Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar browser-based storage technologies for the following purposes:
- Authentication: To keep you securely logged in to your creator account;
- Session management: To maintain your preferences and session state during your visit;
- Click attribution: To accurately attribute clicks and applications generated through your unique creator links to your account;
- Security: To detect and prevent fraudulent login attempts and session hijacking.
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or behavioural tracking unrelated to your creator activity. You may configure your browser to block cookies, but doing so may prevent the Platform from functioning correctly, including accurate click tracking for your earnings.
10Consent & policy acceptance records
When you accept our policies — either during initial registration or when acknowledging updated policies through the in-dashboard consent modal — we record and store the following information as a permanent legal record:
- The fact that you accepted our policies (
agreedToPolicies: true); - The exact date and time (timestamp) at which you provided your acceptance (
agreedToPoliciesAt); - Your account identity (linked to your user ID and email address).
This record is retained permanently and may be used as evidence of your consent in the event of any legal dispute, regulatory inquiry, or enforcement action. It cannot be deleted upon request as it constitutes a legally required record of a contractual agreement.
By accepting our policies, you explicitly acknowledge and consent to the permanent storage of this consent record.
When you tick "I agree" on our policy consent checkbox, we save the exact date and time of that tick permanently in our system. This protects both you and us — you have proof of what you agreed to and when, and we have proof that you consented to our policies before using the Platform.
11India DPDP Act 2023 compliance
JobCrexa is committed to compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), India's primary data protection legislation. Under this framework:
- Data Fiduciary: JobCrexa acts as the Data Fiduciary for the personal data of its creator users, determining the purposes and means of processing;
- Lawful basis for processing: We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent (provided at signup and renewed upon policy updates), and on the basis of legitimate uses including payout processing and fraud prevention;
- Purpose limitation: Your data is collected only for the specific purposes described in this policy and not processed for any incompatible purpose without fresh consent;
- Data minimisation: We collect only the minimum personal data necessary for each stated purpose;
- Data Principal rights: As described in Section 8, you have rights as a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, including the right to access, correct, and erase your data, and the right to grievance redressal;
- Data Protection Officer: For DPDP-related queries and grievances, contact us at adarshpandey@jobcrexa.com. Unresolved grievances may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India.
12Data breach notification
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in harm to your rights or interests, JobCrexa will:
- Notify affected creators via their registered email address as soon as reasonably practicable, and within the timeframes required by the DPDP Act or other applicable law;
- Provide information about the nature of the breach, the types of data affected, the likely consequences, and the steps we are taking to address it;
- Report the breach to the Data Protection Board of India where required by applicable law;
- Take all reasonable steps to contain the breach, prevent further unauthorised access, and strengthen our security measures.
If you believe your JobCrexa account has been compromised, contact us immediately at adarshpandey@jobcrexa.com.
13Children's privacy
The JobCrexa Platform is intended exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
If you are under 18, you are not permitted to register on the Platform. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, we will take immediate steps to delete that information and close the associated account.
If you believe a minor has registered on the Platform, please notify us at adarshpandey@jobcrexa.com so that we can take prompt action.
14Analytics & technology partners
To operate and improve the Platform, we use third-party technology services and tools. These may include:
- Cloud hosting providers: Our Platform and database are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. Your data resides on servers located within or outside India. Where data is stored outside India, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by the DPDP Act;
- Email service providers: We use third-party email services to deliver transactional emails (account notifications, payout alerts, policy updates) to your registered email address. These providers process your email address solely for the purpose of delivering these communications;
- Payment/banking partners: Your bank account details are shared with our payment processing partners solely to execute your payout transfers.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or behavioural analytics tools on the creator dashboard. Any analytics tools we use are limited to internal platform performance monitoring (e.g., server uptime, API performance) and do not involve sharing creator personal data with advertising platforms.
15Platform confidentiality
As a creator on JobCrexa, you may become aware of information about our business that is not publicly disclosed, including our partner network identities, commercial arrangements, payout rate structures, fraud detection methodology, and operational processes.
You agree to treat all such information as strictly confidential and not to disclose it to any third party. This obligation mirrors and is supplementary to the confidentiality obligations detailed in Section 14 of our Terms & Conditions.
This confidentiality obligation exists to protect JobCrexa's competitive position and the integrity of our platform. We believe transparency with our creators about how the platform works is important — which is why we provide our Creator's Platform Guide — but the specific commercial details of our business relationships must remain protected.
16Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, applicable law, or the features of the Platform. When we make material changes, we will notify you via:
- Your registered email address;
- An in-dashboard notice or consent modal requiring your acknowledgement of the updated policy.
The date of the most recent update is displayed at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after notification of an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
