Role Overview

As an Assistant Professor (Course Coordinator) , you will contribute to curriculum design, academic content development, and online programme delivery within a technology-enabled, UGC-compliant Open and Distance Learning (ODL) ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update curriculum, Self-Learning Materials (SLMs), e-content, and learning resources.
• Coordinate course delivery through the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Conduct and monitor assessments and examinations.
• Facilitate learner engagement through live sessions and discussion forums.
• Collaborate with faculty and Course Mentors for seamless course delivery.
• Ensure academic quality and compliance with UGC ODL & Online Education Regulations.
• Develop and review digital learning content, assessments, and video resources.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, academic calendars, and departmental academic processes aligned with NEP 2020 .
• Resolve learners' academic queries and maintain course records.

Eligibility (As per UGC Norms)

Candidates should meet any one of the following:

• Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent) and a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

OR

• Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent) along with UGC NET/SLET/SET qualification.

OR

• Master's Degree at NCrF Level 7 (e.g., M.E./M.Tech.) with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent), wherever applicable.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in higher education teaching, curriculum design, or content development.
• Exposure to Online/ODL teaching environments.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital assessment platforms.
• Strong academic writing, communication, and learner engagement skills.
