Inter-tech Fittings India Private Limited is a leading manufacturer and exporter of high-quality carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and high nickel alloy pipe fittings. Established in 1999, we serve industries including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refineries, Power, Fertilisers, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, and EPC contractors across India and international markets.

Our manufacturing facility in Ambernath is equipped with modern production, machining, and quality control facilities, enabling us to manufacture products that meet international standards.

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to take complete ownership of our manufacturing facility. Reporting directly to the Owners, the Plant Head will be responsible for the overall performance of the factory, ensuring operational excellence, product quality, timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can independently manage end-to-end factory operations while building a high-performance team and driving operational growth.

• Lead and manage complete factory operations, including Production, Production Planning, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Stores, Dispatch, and Manpower.
• Develop and execute production plans to achieve delivery commitments while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure optimum utilisation of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and production capacity.
• Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, and manufacturing costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, rejection rates, machine downtime, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, QA/QC, Dispatch, and Management to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO quality systems, statutory requirements, and workplace safety standards.
• Manage customer inspections, third-party inspections (TPI), audits, and technical requirements.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, process optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop supervisors and factory staff while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Prepare operational MIS reports and present performance, challenges, and improvement plans to the Owners.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, including 5 years in a plant leadership role.
• Experience in pipe fittings, flanges, valves, forging, fabrication, or heavy engineering manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality systems, inventory management, maintenance, and dispatch operations.
• Working knowledge of ASTM, ASME, ANSI, MSS, ISO 9001, and related industry standards.
• Experience handling third-party inspections and customer audits will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
