About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Writer who can simplify complex technical concepts and create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our products and technology ecosystem. The role will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to build and maintain high-quality technical content.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain product and technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, FAQs, and knowledge-base articles.

• Translate complex technical concepts and product functionalities into clear and easy-to understand content.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Developers, QA, and Customer Success teams to gather and validate technical information.

• Develop documentation for APIs, integrations, workflows, configurations, and product features.

• Create step-by-step guides, process documentation, troubleshooting guides, and how-to articles.

• Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance.

• Maintain documentation standards, terminology, structure, and content quality across products.

• Understand user journeys and create documentation that enables customers and internal teams to effectively use the platform.

• Support product launches by preparing documentation for new features and enhancements.

• Incorporate feedback from customers, support teams, and internal stakeholders to continuously improve documentation.

• Manage documentation through appropriate tools and maintain proper version control.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Technical Writing, Product Documentation, API Documentation, or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS/technology environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in simple language.

• Experience creating API documentation, user guides, knowledge-base articles, and product documentation.

• Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, REST APIs, webhooks, and software development concepts.

• Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Notion, Git, Markdown, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar platforms.

• Strong research, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Experience working with B2B SaaS or e-commerce products will be an advantage.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Customer Success, and Business teams to ensure that Unicommerce's complex SaaS products and integrations are documented in a way that is accurate, scalable, and easy for customers and internal teams to understand.
