Lead Backend Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for seasoned Backend Engineers who are passionate about backend systems, willing to learn from the best technical architects, takes ownership, has a sense of urgency, and is a team player.

Responsibilities

• Work with product management and development teams to build backend systems from scratch by writing reusable and maintainable code.
• Implementing a highly performant, secure, and scalable backend system.
• Reviewing and optimizing the backend performance by monitoring key metrics and improving the system proactively.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in developing backend systems.

Required Skills

• Proficient experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL / PostgreSQL.
• Sound knowledge in design patterns, security, performance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with agile development practices like code review, unit & regression testing, and continuous deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in building SaaS applications is preferred.
