Job Summary:

Senior Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in modern data platforms, including Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Informatica (PowerCenter and IDMC). Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in data lake architecture, MDM, data governance, pipeline optimization, and AI-enabled data engineering practices. Strong stakeholder management and solution design skills are required.

Key Deliverables:

• Design, develop, document, and maintain data ingestion pipelines.
• Monitor daily scheduled jobs and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and coding standards are met.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements to scalable solutions.
• Find opportunities to optimize existing pipelines and data lake leveraging AI.
• Real world expertise implementing data catalog (unity) and creating data products
• Hands on experience with implementing integrations in IDMC and transitions from Power Center to IDMC using Informatica.

Responsibilities:

• Lead data analysis and design efforts
• Align stakeholders

Required Experience:

• 8+ years data/analytics engineering experience
• Preferred Databricks & Informatica certifications
• Experience in Pharma or Regulated industry preferred
• Experience utilizing AI for data lifecycle optimization

Required Tools / Platforms Experience:

• Databricks, Informatica Power center & IDMC
• SQL, Python
• Azure Data Factory
