Industry Pharma / Medical Devices / Life Sciences

Experience 8–15+ years of overall experience, with strong experience in Project or Program Management.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Program Manager to lead and manage cross-functional projects for global Pharma, Medical Device, and Life Sciences organizations. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project/program delivery, including planning, execution, team management, stakeholder management, risk management, resource planning, governance, and ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, scope, quality, and budget. Experience working in a regulated Pharma, MedTech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences environment is preferred. Knowledge of regulatory and quality processes will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Project / Program Management

• Lead projects/programs from initiation through successful completion.

• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps.

• Track project progress against scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

• Manage project dependencies, risks, issues, and changes.

• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.

• Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Team Management

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams.

• Coordinate resources across business, technology, engineering, quality, operations, and other functions.

• Assign responsibilities and ensure accountability across team members.

• Monitor team performance, workload, and delivery commitments.

• Facilitate regular team meetings and project discussions.

• Support team development, collaboration, and issue resolution.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business, technical, functional, and leadership teams.

• Conduct project governance meetings and steering committee reviews.

• Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts or escalations.

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify and assess project risks and dependencies.

• Maintain RAID logs and establish mitigation plans.

• Proactively identify potential delivery challenges.

• Drive issue resolution and escalate critical issues when required.

• Manage project changes and assess their impact on scope, timeline, and budget.

Resource & Financial Management

• Plan and manage project resources based on business requirements.

• Track resource utilization and project capacity.

• Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.

• Coordinate with vendors and external partners where applicable.

• Ensure effective utilization of project resources. Quality & Governance

• Ensure projects follow defined organizational processes, standards, and governance frameworks.

• Maintain appropriate project documentation and reporting.

• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards.

• Support internal reviews, audits, and compliance activities when applicable.

• Establish appropriate project governance, reporting cadence, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 8–15+ years of experience in Project / Program Management.

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Experience managing cross-functional and/or global teams.

• Experience working with global stakeholders is highly desirable.

• Pharma, MedTech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences experience is preferred but not mandatory

Regulatory / Life Sciences Knowledge – Added Advantage Prior experience in Pharma, Medical Devices, Healthcare, or other regulated industries is preferred.
