Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

Write, script, and direct reels, We're looking for someone who is internet-obsessed, idea-hungry and always creating. Someone who wants to help build one of India's most upcoming beauty brands. shorts, and social-first content that brings Pilgrim & PHD's brand voice to life across Instagram, You Tube Shorts, and other platforms. Own the reel from idea to final cut scripting, shot-planning, directing talent/creators on set, and guiding edits. Take initiative to spot content opportunities & trends, formats, sounds, and cultural moments and turn them around fast, on-brand.

Creative Strategy & Execution

Build and pitch original content concepts, not just execute briefs. Bring a point of view on what will work & why. Partner with editors, and influencers/creators to execute content that's sharp in craft and platform-native

Social Media & Trend Fluency

Live and breathe social media; have deep, current knowledge of Instagram, You Tube Shorts, and emerging platforms, formats, and creator trends. Track what's working across the category and culture at large and content trends, and translate it into fresh content ideas for the brand. Stay closely tuned to comments, engagement, and platform signals to inform what gets made next.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience as a content creator, scriptwriter at a D2 C brand, content/social agency, or as an independent creator/influencer with 10 K+ followers Proven ability to write scripts and direct reels/short-form video, with a portfolio or reel showcasing the work. Sharp, current understanding of social media platforms, trends, formats, and what drives engagement. Comfortable directing shoots, working with talent/creators, and briefing editors. Strong sense of initiative Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience in beauty, personal care, fashion, or lifestyle D2 C is a plus.
