Your area of work:

As a Senior S/4HANA Finance Data Migration Consultant you will lead and support the Finance Data Migration workstream across S/4HANA transformation programs.

You will be responsible for defining the migration strategy, selecting and governing migration tools, and overseeing the end-to-end execution of finance data migration activities.

This role requires strong expertise in SAP finance data structures, migration methodologies, data quality management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the accurate, complete, and timely transition of financial data into the S/4HANA environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Own and deliver the end-to-end Finance data migration strategy for SAP S/4HANA programs.
• Lead migration planning, mock loads, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Manage migration of Finance master and transactional data, including Business Partners, G/L Accounts, Cost/Profit Centers, AP/AR open items, Asset Accounting, and historical balances.
• Ensure data quality through profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Finance teams, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams to define mapping and migration requirements.
• Establish migration governance, standards, and best practices, while providing regular status updates to project leadership.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement through automation, templates, and migration accelerators.

Your profile:

• 5-7 years of experience leading Finance data migration workstreams in SAP S/4HANA implementations, including planning, execution, cutover, and hypercare.
• Strong expertise in SAP Finance data structures, migration methodologies, and tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP MDG, LSMW, and integration technologies (BAPIs, IDocs, APIs).
• Deep understanding of Finance master and transactional data, data quality, reconciliation, governance, and cross-functional data dependencies.
• Experience working in global SAP transformation programs and collaborating with business, functional, and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing and mentoring a team will be a plus
• Familiarity with cloud-based ETL processes, data lakes, and modern enterprise data platforms such as SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, and Azure Data Lake.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or Data Migration certification and SAP MDG implementation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting requirements is an advantage.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English – German knowledge of advantage.
