Woxsen University invites applications from accomplished and aspiring academics to join the School of Technology in the area of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor .

We are looking for faculty who combine strong academic credentials, research ambition, technological expertise, and a commitment to innovative teaching . Candidates with established research profiles as well as high-potential early-career scholars are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

Design and deliver high-quality undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Develop contemporary curricula aligned with global developments in computing and technology. Employ experiential, project-based and technology-enabled pedagogies. Mentor students in academic, technical, research and innovation projects. Contribute to interdisciplinary teaching across the University.

Research & Innovation

Develop an independent and internationally visible research programme. Publish research in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Secure competitive research grants and industry-funded projects. Supervise Ph D scholars and postgraduate research. Build collaborations with leading global universities, research institutions and industry. Translate research into patents, technology transfer, prototypes, products, policy impact and other forms of societal/industrial impact where appropriate.

Industry & Global Engagement

Develop partnerships with technology companies, startups, research laboratories and professional bodies. Contribute to industry-sponsored projects, consulting and executive education. Support international collaborations, joint research and academic exchange. Participate in conferences, workshops and other global academic and professional forums.

Academic & Institutional Contribution

Contribute to programme development, accreditation and quality assurance. Participate in school and university committees and academic initiatives. Support student recruitment, mentoring and institutional engagement. Contribute to the development of research centres, laboratories, innovation ecosystems and interdisciplinary initiatives.

Candidate Profile

Professor

Candidates should demonstrate:

Ph D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related discipline from a reputed institution. Strong academic and research record with sustained publication in high-quality journals/conferences. Evidence of research leadership and an independent research agenda. Successful Ph D supervision and/or research project leadership. Demonstrated ability to attract research funding and develop academic/industry collaborations. Strong teaching and academic leadership experience.

Associate Professor

Candidates should demonstrate:

Ph D in a relevant discipline from a reputed institution. Strong teaching and research experience. Consistent publication record in reputed international journals/conferences. Evidence of doctoral supervision, funded research, industry collaboration or academic leadership. A clearly defined and developing independent research agenda.

Assistant Professor

Candidates should demonstrate:

Ph D or near-completion of Ph D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline. Strong academic credentials and demonstrated research potential. Publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals/conferences are highly desirable. Ability to teach contemporary CSE courses and mentor student projects. Evidence of potential to develop an independent research programme.
