Reinsurance Placement and underwriting

Reinsurance Underwriting & Placement – Delhi Location: Delhi Experience: 2–8 years Role Overview: We are looking for a professional with experience in Reinsurance Underwriting & Placement to manage day-to-day reinsurance activities, including risk assessment, placement, negotiations, documentation and coordination with clients, insurers and reinsurers. Key Responsibilities: Handle reinsurance underwriting and placement activities across relevant lines of business. Review submissions, assess risks and support underwriting decisions. Coordinate with cedants, brokers and reinsurers for quotations and placements. Negotiate terms, pricing, limits and conditions with reinsurers. Manage policy documentation, renewals, endorsements and other operational activities. Maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers and business partners. Ensure timely closure of placements and accurate documentation. Support the team in developing new business and servicing existing accounts. Ideal Candidate: 2–8 years of experience in Reinsurance Underwriting, Placement or Broking . Good understanding of reinsurance products, terms and processes. Strong negotiation, coordination and communication skills. Experience in both placement and operational aspects of reinsurance will be preferred. Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Delhi .
