CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Job Title: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Location: Grand Island, NE Department: Nursing Reports to: DON Position Type: Full Time Shifts Available: 6:00am-2pm, 6:00am-6pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm every other weekend Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities: Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely. Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates. Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records. Communication: Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner. Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents' quality of life. Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care. Certifications: Current CNA certification in NE required.
