The Position

Associate Director / Director – Solution Architecture to join our Professional

Services team. This is a director-level, hybrid leadership and hands-on architecture role: you will

lead and develop a team of solution architects while personally providing AI-first architecture

leadership on our most complex and strategic customer engagements. We are looking for an

architect of architects with strong software engineering and programming depth, deep B2 B

integration expertise, and the ability to design and build applications end to end.

What You Will Be Doing

AI, FDE & Modern Architecture

• Apply Generative AI, RAG, and Agentic AI patterns to enterprise and supply-chain use cases

where they create meaningful business value.

• Help develop an FDE (Forward Deployed Engineering)-driven solution delivery model, working

closely with customers to rapidly translate business problems into production-grade solutions.

• Understand tool calling, MCP, and how AI agents securely integrate with APIs, data, and

enterprise systems; apply sound judgment when choosing between deterministic software and

AI-driven approaches.

Architecture Leadership & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of solution architects, including senior technical leaders;

own coaching, career development, and performance.

• Set architecture direction and review complex designs, ensuring quality, consistency,

scalability, and adherence to best practices.

• Establish reusable architecture patterns and delivery standards, and partner with Professional

Services, Product, and Engineering leadership on strategic priorities.

• Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical, architecture, performance, and

customer issues.

Solution Architecture & Delivery:

• Work with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable

integration and application architectures.

• Design end-to-end solutions across APIs, services, messaging, event-driven systems, data,

security, cloud, observability, and deployment.

• Architect B2 B integrations across trading partners and enterprise systems such as ERP,

WMS, TMS, and logistics platforms.

• Apply strong software engineering and programming skills to prototypes, reference

implementations, code reviews, and design reviews.

• Lead architecture for scalability, resiliency, performance, and production readiness on

strategic or high-complexity engagements.

• Balance hands-on solution delivery with team leadership responsibilities across multiple

priorities.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of software engineering, architecture, or enterprise integration experience, with

significant experience in senior technical leadership roles.

• 5+ years of experience leading and developing architects, principal engineers, or senior

technical teams; experience operating at Associate Director or Director scope is preferred.

• Strong programming background with demonstrated experience building production

applications end to end.

• Deep expertise in complex EDI workflows and modern API integrations (REST, OData, etc.),

including transformation, orchestration, messaging, and exception handling.

• Experience integrating ERP and enterprise applications; supply-chain domain experience is

strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, resiliency, security, observability,

performance tuning, and production operations.

• Experience with EDI standards and formats such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, XML/flat files,

and protocols such as AS2 and SFTP is a strong advantage.

• Working knowledge of Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, tool calling, MCP, and FDE-driven

solution delivery.

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical talent, with strong customer-facing

communication and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
