Junior solidworks design engineer

RMR INNOTECH is seeking a Junior CAD Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing configuration specific solidworks assembly with detailed part and assembly drawings, ensuring they meet technical specifications, and follows Design for Manufacturing/Assembling philosophy. ROLE DESCRIPTION
Create and modify Parts, assemblies and drawings in the Solidworks environment using features like sheet metal, etc.
The candidate shall be responsible for Solid Works 3 D modelling, drafting and BOM
preparation, design documentation control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mechanical Design & Modeling

Create configuration-specific Solid Works assemblies and detailed part drawings including BOMs for industrial equipment and electrical assemblies. Model intermediate assemblies (typically 500+ components) ensuring Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). Utilize Solid Works sheet metal tools for enclosure and fabrication design.

3 D EXPERIENCE/PDM Library Management

Work within the 3 DEXPERIENCE and PDM cloud platform to upload, revise, and manage models and drawings . Maintain organized records through document control systems

Drawing & Documentatio

n Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication documentatio n. Ensure all documentation aligns with project requirements and manufacturing specification

Design Revisio

ns Implement engineering changes based on production feedback, project requirements, and/or client specificatio ns. Maintain revision history and documentation traceabili

ty.

Quality Assura

nce Ensure designs are accurate, feasible, and compliant with applicable standa

Core Requirem

ents: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related technical disci pline. Good understanding of design engineering, and mechanical engineering to produce an efficient design Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience with Soli dworks Basic to intermediate level proficiency in Solid Works. Proficiency in using sheet-metal feature in Soli dworks Logical and conceptual th inking Attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team enviro nment.
