Registered Veterinary Technician Full Time

ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic | Stockton, California

$26-$30 per hour, depending on experience

ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time. We are a nonprofit, high-volume spay/neuter clinic dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and providing affordable veterinary services to our community.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for surgery
• Administering medications and inducing anesthesia under veterinarian supervision
• Intubating and monitoring patients throughout anesthesia
• Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures
• Monitoring patients during recovery
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Preparing surgical instruments and packs
• Supporting clinic cleanliness, organization, and infection-control procedures
• Working cooperatively with veterinarians, assistants, reception staff, and volunteers

Qualifications

• Current California RVT license in good standing
• Strong anesthesia-monitoring and patient-care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Dependable, organized, compassionate, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working with cats, dogs, and community/feral cats
• Spay/neuter or surgical experience preferred, but additional training may be provided

This is a full-time position with a consistent daytime schedule. No overnight shifts. The ideal candidate believes in ACT's mission and wants to make a meaningful difference for animals and families in the Stockton community.
