Principal (FACADES)

TYG is partnering with a leading specialist consultancy that is seeking to hire a Principal to join its established Building Envelope practice in New York. This is a senior leadership opportunity combining technical project delivery, client development and the continued growth of the firm’s NYC practice. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of complex new construction facade and building enclosure projects Provide technical leadership across facades, waterproofing, fenestration, roofing and specialty enclosure systems Build and maintain relationships with major owners, architects, developers and industry partners Lead proposals, presentations and strategic pursuits for new work Mentor and develop technical staff across the practice Support the financial performance, strategy and continued growth of the New York team Requirements 10+ years of experience in building envelope consulting, design or a related field Strong background in new construction and building enclosure design PE, RA or equivalent professional licensure Experience leading complex projects and managing senior client relationships Strong understanding of facade and building enclosure systems Ability to contribute to business development and practice growth Previous experience mentoring and developing technical teams Why Join?
