Dental Insurance & Billing Specialist
The Smile Institute is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Dental Insurance & Billing Specialist to join our team!
We are looking for someone with strong dental insurance experience who can independently manage insurance processing, payment posting, and accounts receivable.
Responsibilities
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.

Process and post Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).

Process insurance checks and payments.

Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and outstanding balances.

Follow up on unpaid or denied insurance claims.

Resolve insurance discrepancies and payment issues.

Maintain accurate patient accounts and billing records.

Communicate effectively with our office team.

Qualifications
Previous dental insurance and billing experience required.

Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, benefits, and claims processing.

Experience with dental practice management software.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
