Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNewly Created Role with an Award Winning Drone-Tech Firm.Bright and Collaborative, Unique and Interesting Projects surrounding a Market Niche Drone Technology.Five or More Years of Experience is Required.Desired Skills/Experience:Airframe Architecture & Aerodynamics: Design and optimize fixed-wing, multirotor, or VTOL geometries for maximum endurance, payload capacity, and aerodynamic efficiency.Flight Dynamics & GNC: Develop and tune Guidance, Navigation, and Control algorithms to guarantee flight stability, obstacle avoidance, and precise autonomous navigation.Avionics & Sensor Integration: Direct the selection and integration of flight controllers, IMUs, GPS/GNSS, LiDAR, and payload instrumentation.Propulsion & Power Systems: Evaluate and optimize motor, propeller, ESC, and battery or hybrid powertrain configurations for peak flight performance.Simulation & Structural Analysis: Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) testing to validate designs.Flight Testing & Telemetry Analysis: Lead ground and flight test campaigns to validate airworthiness, troubleshoot in-flight anomalies, and expand operating limits.Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Ensure vehicle designs meet civil aviation airworthiness standards (e.g., FAA Part 107/135) and prepare technical certification documentationExperience with Engineering Project Management, Project Coordination and Communication is also a big part of this role.An Advanced Degree in AeroSpace Engineering or a related field is preferred.Very Competitive Compensation and Benefits, Relocation Assistance is Offered,
