Utilities Estimator

Must Haves: 10+ years of estimating experience Experience estimating transmission utility infrastructure projects Experience supporting utility clients such as FPL, Duke, NextEra, or similar utility organizations Strong knowledge of: Transmission systems Distribution systems Utility relocations ENA / Civil construction/ Clearing Access Foundations Software experience - Blue beam, Pro Core Heavy Excell skills Experience identifying and pursuing new project opportunities High school diploma, ideally a Bachelors degree Day-to-day: Our client is seeking a Senior Estimator with deep experience in utility infrastructure projects. This individual will manage the estimating process from initial opportunity identification through final bid submission while supporting utility, transmission, distribution, and civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Review plans and specifications for utility projects Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed project estimates Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing Prepare competitive bid packages and proposals Identify and pursue new bidding opportunities Work with customers, vendors, and internal project teams throughout the bid process Develop estimates for utility, transmission, distribution, and related infrastructure projects Utilize estimating tools to prepare accurate pricing
