Position Description

The Data Platform & Engineering (DPE) organization within GDIA is looking for an experienced Program Manager to support engineering and product teams by driving operational excellence, Agile delivery, and program governance. The role involves managing planning cycles, ensuring Jira data integrity, tracking risks and dependencies, and enabling successful delivery of cloud-based data platform solutions.

Experience Required

• Minimum 6+ years of IT experience
• Minimum 3+ years of Program Management experience
• Strong expertise in Project Management
• Minimum 2+ years of Agile software delivery experience
• Experience managing user stories, backlogs, sprint planning, and Jira/Rally
• Minimum 1+ year of experience supporting cloud-based software products on GCP, AWS, or Azure

Education

• Required: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field

Key Responsibilities

• Standardize and drive Program Management practices across the Data Platform & Engineering organization.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, iteration planning, and quarterly planning using Jira.
• Maintain Jira as the single source of truth by ensuring accurate tracking of work items, estimates, and commitments.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and scope changes.
• Ensure program governance, process compliance, and documentation.
• Resolve finance and billing discrepancies related to project tracking.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and transparency.
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership.
