Role Description The Technical Coordinator – Marine Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in the Pune Division, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role coordinates technical consultancy activities, supports vessel inspections, and assists in planning condition monitoring and predictive maintenance tasks in line with project requirements. The Technical Coordinator collaborates with project managers, vendors, agents, and vessel operators to organize dockings, repair projects, and retrofit installations, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to technical standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing technical reports and inspection data, preparing work scopes and schedules, handling technical queries, and providing timely support to customers and internal teams. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of processes, supporting safety and compliance initiatives, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret technical data, inspection reports, and condition monitoring results.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, vessel crews, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in technical support within marine engineering, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to respond promptly to customer needs and maintain professional relationships.
• Project management skills for planning, organizing, and tracking marine repair, docking, and retrofit activities.
• Degree or diploma in Marine Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of vessel systems, condition monitoring techniques, and maritime regulatory standards is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic project management or documentation tools.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage time effectively, and handle multiple assignments concurrently.
• Prior experience in shipyards, marine consultancy, or vessel operations will be an advantage.
