I'm partnering with a rapidly growing financial services startup that is building a next-generation platform at the intersection of banking, payments, digital assets, and capital markets. With approximately 30 employees and significant growth plans ahead, this is an exceptional opportunity to join an early-stage organization and help build the accounting and finance infrastructure from the ground up.

ResponsibilitiesLead core accounting operations and month-end close activitiesPrepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statementsAssist with regulatory and financial reporting requirements, including Call ReportsSupport accounting system implementations and process improvementsBuild scalable policies, procedures, and internal controlsUtilize AI and automation tools to enhance accounting workflows and strengthen controlsPartner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A initiativesSupport reporting requirements within regulated financial services environmentsWork cross-functionally with operations, compliance, technology, xzbcwsv and leadership teams
Ideal BackgroundCPA preferredBig 4 background strongly preferred (any industry)Strong accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls experienceExposure to financial services, fintech, banking, or other regulated industries is a plusComfortable building processes and controls in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentEntrepreneurial, hands-on, and excited to leverage AI and automation to improve accounting operations and reporting
