<p> SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed to be University is pleased to invite applications for the position of Assistant Professor at Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce - Mumbai in Accounting &amp; Finance Area with Chartered Accountant / Chartered Financial Analyst / Master of Business Administration specialization. </p> <p> Job Description </p> <p> Qualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: </p> <p> a. A Master ‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in concerned / relevant discipline from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. </p> <p> b. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET. </p> <p> OR </p> <p> b. A candidate has been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M. Phil./Ph. D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. </p> <p> AND </p> <p> c. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals </p> <p> OR </p> <p> First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Chartered Financial Analyst / Master of Business Administration in Finance. </p> <p> d. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable: </p> <p> i) Ph. D preferred with entry-level 2 years’ experience is desirable but not mandatory. </p> <p> ii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph. D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency. </p> <p> Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph. D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed. </p> <p> Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate. </p>
