<p><b>ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE</b></p><p>BUSINESS: CIRCOR Industrial</p><p>LOCATION: Coimbatore </p><p>DIRECT REPORTING: Operations Manager</p><p><br /></p><p> <b>Senior Manufacturing Engineer</b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>POSITION DETAILS</b></p><p><b>Position Summary</b></p><p>The Senior Manufacturing Engineer shall support the business in areas of new product development; process improvement; daily product support; project manage key programs; technical authority in metal processes; analyze and interpret technical data (engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, etc.) and create shop routings, operations sheets, tools, and other necessary processes and equipment to produce a high-quality product.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Principal Activities</b></p><ul><li>RFQ costing preparation for New Projects &amp; NPD Products</li><li>Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and production systems.</li><li>Develop and maintain manufacturing process mapping, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation. </li><li>Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation and production readiness. </li><li>Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve manufacturing performance. </li><li>Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to achieve operational goals.</li><li>Programs CNC machines to effectively and efficiently product desired product.</li><li>Analyse and resolve Production tooling related issues</li><li>Create new or modify existing manufacturing drawings used CAD methodology.</li><li>Value engineer existing products and processes to reduce cost, lead time and cycle times.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><b>CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS</b></p><p><b>Knowledge Skills &amp; Abilities</b></p><ul><li>12+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience in an high precision manufacturing environment with high mix/low to mid volume product rates. demonstrating strong expertise in process engineering, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Knowledge of Tool Design (Jigs &amp; Fixtures, Tools and Gauges) and Developments</li><li>Extension machining background with hands-on expertise in CNC, VMC, VTL process supporting the production of close tolerance highly precision products involving various types of metal allows. CAD/CAM experience with exposure in working with NX, Solid Works or Master Cam preferred. </li><li>Strong metal processing background, i.e., Heat Treating, Surface Finishing, Forging, Casting, etc. </li><li>Strong Project Management Skills.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project, SolidWorks, CATIA and other applicable tools.<b> </b></li><li>Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions; works well in a group problem solving situations; presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention; displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions includes appropriate people in decision-making process.</li><li>Passion for data, analysis, trends, reporting and technology. Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write clearly and informatively routine reports, correspondence, and designs work flows and procedures.
