About the Company : Founded in 2005, Lufthansa Technik Services India (LTSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik AG (LHT) of Germany. About the Role :
The ARC Asset Management function ensures the uninterrupted availability and cost-efficient management of airframe-related components, including flight controls, radomes, and other large structural parts. The team manages sourcing, procurement, inventory, and loan control for both pool and non-pool customers, balancing material readiness with financial efficiency.
The function demands a high level of analytical thinking, negotiation skill, and technical understanding of component lifecycle management. Close coordination with workshops, procurement, logistics, lessors, and customers ensures smooth asset utilization, reduced turnaround time, and optimized total cost of ownership.
The team member is responsible for material sourcing and asset utilization related to ARC components. The role requires strong commercial acumen, negotiation ability, and analytical thinking to ensure cost-effective sourcing and timely availability of flight control and structural parts.
The related tasks include (without being limited to):
- Source ARC materials from approved vendors, comparing commercial and technical conditions.
- Negotiate with suppliers for optimal pricing and delivery schedules, ensuring budgetary compliance.
- Coordinate procurement decisions (buy, lease, or consignment) with management and purchasing teams.
- Perform DSG checks for incoming materials and coordinate with customers for technical documentation.
- Support workshop processes by ensuring readiness of material for repair or replacement.
- Facilitate sale, loan, or exchange offers to customers and monitor completion.
Qualifications :
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent within Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Advanced knowledge of component management, procurement processes, and supplier interaction.
- Continuous coordination with internal procurement, logistics, workshop, and external vendors.
- Strong analytical and decision-making ability to balance quality, lead time, and cost.
- Accountable for optimizing asset utilization and minimizing ownership costs, contributing directly to financial performance.
- Demonstrates flexibility, negotiation skills, and innovation in resolving supply bottlenecks.
