Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to manage and oversee the finance and accounting function of our travel business. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, financial controls, MIS, receivables / payables and profitability analysis.

Experience in the travel, airline, hospitality or corporate travel industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall accounting, financial reporting and month-end closing.
• Monitor client receivables, vendor payables and cash flow .
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
• Manage airline/BSP, GDS, hotel and vendor reconciliations.
• Review commissions, service fees, refunds, credit notes and travel-related transactions.
• Prepare client-wise, branch-wise and department-wise profitability reports .
• Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, cash flow and management reports.
• Monitor outstanding payments and strengthen credit control.
• Coordinate statutory, tax and internal audits.
• Review commercial agreements, credit terms and financial implications.
• Identify financial leakages, errors and areas for cost improvement.
• Lead and supervise the finance & accounts team.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for business decisions.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) .
• Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and accounting standards.
• Excellent Excel and MIS skills.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and financial control skills.
• Good understanding of receivables, payables and cash flow management.
• Experience in travel/airline/hospitality/corporate travel preferred.
• Strong communication and team management skills.
• Should have a commercial mindset and the ability to work closely with senior management.
