About the Role: The Business Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Valparaiso, IN. The Manager will oversee Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, managing key accounts, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role will partner with the VP of Sales, and support the President to improve the efficiency & quality for Okaya North America Operations.
The Business Operations Manager will oversee the customer service and logistics team to deliver accurate order fulfillment and high quality customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include analyzing sales and pricing data,, and preparing sales forecasts reports for leadership team.
ResponsibilitiesManage the total quality customer service experience.Manage order processing, purchasing, and logistics.Supervise a small team - Customer Service & LogisticsCoordinate Inside Sales activity with the VP of Sales.Conduct data analysis using historical sales orders, trends and forecasts,Present findings & recommendations for Sales development to the PresidentSupport ISO 9001 internal audits.
QualificationsB2B sales, account management, and new business development within technical or industrial products.Knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and ERP systems.Competence using CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications, Excel pivot tables, highly preferred.Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with sales presentation and customer-facing expertise.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or Sales Management related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Experience in electronics, manufacturing related industries is highly preferred.
