We are seeking a Senior Genetec System Administrator to support a global physical security platform conversion spanning more than 100 office locations. This role requires extensive hands-on programming experience with Genetec Security Center, including both Omnicast video management and Synergis access control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for logical device configuration, system administration, troubleshooting, and supporting the global rollout in coordination with local installation teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on programming and administration of Genetec Security Center across a global enterprise environment.Configure, add, troubleshoot, and remove devices within integrated access control and video management systems.Administer Genetec Omnicast and Synergis components, including cameras, access control devices, and associated system configurations.Monitor sites, configure alarms, and troubleshoot system and device issues.Remotely access servers to perform logical programming and configuration in coordination with local installation teams.Support the conversion of more than 100 global offices to the Genetec platform.Maintain system configurations and follow established security and change management procedures.Required Qualifications7–10 years of hands-on physical security system programming experience.Demonstrated experience with both Genetec Omnicast and Synergis.Genetec certification at least through the Enterprise level.Strong experience with logical programming, device configuration, system administration, and troubleshooting.Experience supporting enterprise-scale, multi-site physical security environments.Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with technical teams and local installers.Additional InformationLocation: Pittsburgh, PAWork Arrangement: Onsite, five days per week
Important: This role focuses on programming and system administration, not physical device installation.
