General Superintendent – Hyperscale Data Center Construction
Build the Future of Mission Critical Infrastructure We are partnered with a growing General Contractor that is making a significant investment in the Mission Critical and Data Center sector.
As the business expands its hyperscale capabilities, they are looking for an experienced General Superintendent to take a leading role in the delivery of major data center projects across the United States.
This is an opportunity to join a growing division at an important stage of its development, with the chance to influence project delivery, field operations and the wider growth of the team.
About the Role
The Opportunity As General Superintendent, you will take ownership of field operations across large-scale hyperscale and colocation data center projects. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:Leading day-to-day site operationsManaging field teams and subcontractorsDriving project safety, quality and schedule performanceCoordinating complex mechanical and electrical installationsManaging logistics, sequencing and material deliveriesWorking closely with Project Management and project stakeholdersLeading planning meetings and coordinating construction activitiesMaintaining strong relationships with owners, consultants and trade partnersMentoring and developing junior field staff
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:10+ years of Superintendent experience5+ years of hyperscale or colocation data center experienceExperience delivering projects valued at $25M–$100M+Strong understanding of MEP systemsProven leadership and scheduling experienceExperience working within fast-paced, mission critical environmentsWillingness to travel nationally for extended project assignmentsExperience across hyperscale, enterprise data centers, colocation or other mission critical environments would be highly relevant.
