Clinical responsibilities include managing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic cases, covering the emergency room, performing circumcisions (preferred), and performing D&C procedures for miscarriages; the facility does not perform terminations. The facility averages approximately 1,000 deliveries per year, with 2-3 deliveries per day, and operates a 24/7 midwife model ensuring a physician and midwife are in house at all times. Temporary privileges are an option; clinicians must maintain a clean file for consideration.
