About the Role:

Amity Physical Therapy LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team in Woodbridge, CT! In this role, you'll work alongside experienced physical therapists to help patients recover, regain mobility, and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitative techniques
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
• Adhere to all state regulations, clinic policies, and professional ethical standards

Requirements:

• Active Connecticut PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and clinical staff
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, patient-centered environment
• Prior clinical experience or internship in an outpatient or orthopedic setting is a plus
