Position OverviewLeaderStat is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide hospital-wide clinical leadership and operational oversight at, a 311+ bed acute care facility. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality patient care, coordinating staffing and bed management, responding to emergencies, and supporting nursing teams across multiple departments.
The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with experience in acute care operations, crisis management, staffing coordination, and hospital-wide supervision.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide hospital-wide nursing supervision and operational leadership across all departments.Coordinate patient flow, bed placement, staffing needs, and facility diversion.Respond to rapid responses, codes, clinical emergencies, and critical incidents.Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, charge nurses, and department leadership.Manage crisis situations, patient escalations, workplace safety concerns, and behavioral emergencies.Oversee staffing productivity, resource allocation, and compliance with staffing standards.Support incident reporting, risk management, sentinel event monitoring, and regulatory compliance.Manage sensitive situations involving patient deaths, AMA discharges, restraints, and narcotic diversion.Coach and support nursing teams to maintain clinical performance and patient safety standards.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection prevention protocols, and DPH, TJC, and OSHA requirements.
QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsStrong inpatient acute care nursing experienceExperience in hospital-wide nursing supervision or clinical leadershipBackground in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, ICU, or Emergency ServicesDemonstrated ability to manage codes, emergencies, staffing challenges, and complex clinical situationsStrong communication, conflict resolution, de-escalation, and leadership skillsKnowledge of regulatory compliance, patient safety, and hospital operations
Preferred ExperienceHouse Supervisor, Nursing Supervisor, or hospital-wide leadership experienceCentralized staffing and productivity managementRapid Response and Code Team coordinationEmergency preparedness and crisis interventionRisk management, incident investigations, and sentinel event reportingCoaching nursing staff and managing performance standards
