Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Financial Planner role based in Kolkata. The Certified Financial Planner will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, analyze their current financial situation, and develop comprehensive personal financial plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing investment and retirement strategies, reviewing insurance and risk coverage needs, and monitoring client portfolios for performance and suitability. The role involves explaining complex financial concepts in clear terms, updating plans as client circumstances change, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The planner will also stay current with financial regulations, tax considerations, and market developments, and may participate in client seminars, workshops, and outreach activities to build and maintain a strong client base.
Qualifications

• Strong capabilities in Financial Planning and Personal Financial Planning, with the ability to create comprehensive, goal-based strategies.
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credential or equivalent professional certification, with a solid grounding in Finance principles.
• Practical experience in Retirement Planning, including designing long-term savings, investment, and withdrawal strategies.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, with proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly and build trust over time.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team, manage multiple client relationships, and use financial planning software and tools effectively.
