Job Description
Social Media & Content Creation Lead |
Full-time |
Reporting to: Brand Manager |
Location: Faridabad (in-office)
TARGET CANDIDATE PROFILE 2–4 years in social media or content creation • Strong short-form portfolio • Comfortable on camera • Beauty, lifestyle or D2C experience preferred
About the opportunity
fast-growing beauty and personal-care company with in-house manufacturing and R&D, and multiple consumer brands.
We are building organic social as a repeatable content engine, not a posting calendar. Working under the Brand Manager, you will personally take ideas from hook to script to camera to edit to publish, then use the numbers to decide what deserves another iteration. This is a hands-on creator role with real ownership, not an agency-coordination position.
The essentials
- Experience: 2–4 years in social media management, content creation, brand content or a closely related role.
- Location: Faridabad, Haryana. In office, five days a week, with on-site shoots when required.
- On-camera work: Mandatory. You should be confident presenting products, tutorials, demonstrations and brand stories on video.
- Production: You must be able to script, shoot and edit Reels, Shorts and other platform-native short-form content yourself.
- Role type: Strong individual contributor. You may coordinate designers or photographers when needed, but you remain personally accountable for output and quality.
- Terms: Full time. Six-month probation. No bond and no lock-in. Statutory PF and gratuity apply.
- Reporting: Brand Manager; working closely with Creative and Performance Marketing.
- Start date: Immediate joining preferred.
What you will actually build
The mandate is to create a durable organic-content capability across our beauty brands:
- A platform-first content system: clear content pillars, recurring series, formats and channel roles for each brand.
- A reliable short-form engine: a fast weekly rhythm from insight and hook to script, shoot, edit, caption and publish.
- A recognisable on-camera presence: credible demonstrations, tutorials, problem-solution stories and product education that feel native to the platform.
- A disciplined social operating rhythm: calendars, approvals, publishing, community responses and an organised content library.
- A measurable learning loop: weekly reviews that identify winning hooks and formats, then turn them into repeatable series and stronger briefs.
What the job involves
- Turning the Brand Manager’s priorities into monthly calendars and weekly production plans with clear objectives for every piece.
- Researching audience problems, product truths, trends, and cultural moments, then converting them into original content ideas.
- Writing hooks, scripts, captions, calls to action and thumbnail text in a clear, distinctive brand voice.
- Appearing on camera and directing your own performance until the delivery feels natural, credible and platform-native.
- Shooting clean footage with strong framing, lighting and audio, then editing for pace, retention, subtitles and mobile viewing.
- Publishing consistently across Instagram and YouTube Shorts, and adapting content for other relevant channels when required.
- Managing comments and community conversations, and feeding recurring questions or objections back to the Brand Manager.
- Reviewing watch time, completion, shares, saves, profile visits and organic traffic; testing new hooks instead of defending weak content.
- Handing proven organic assets to Performance Marketing for amplification. You will not own media buying or paid-campaign optimisation.
What we are looking for
- A portfolio that proves personal contribution. We want to see content you conceived, scripted, presented, shot or edited, not only work produced by an agency.
- Strong short-form craft: hooks, structure, pacing, framing, lighting, audio, subtitles and a clear reason to keep watching.
- Comfort with at least one practical editing workflow, such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or an equivalent tool.
- Good writing and visual judgment. You can recognise a weak hook, cluttered frame or generic caption before it goes live.
- Speed with standards. You can publish at a steady cadence without letting brand voice, accuracy or finish collapse.
- Analytical discipline. You understand that reach and followers are signals, while retention, shares, saves, profile visits and traffic reveal whether content worked.
- High ownership and openness to direct feedback. You can reshoot, recut and improve without treating every revision as a creative disagreement.
