We're Hiring: Primary Mother Teacher - Stage 1 & Stage 2

Northfield International School, Hyderabad, is looking for a caring, passionate and experienced Primary Mother Teacher to take responsibility for Stage 1 and Stage 2.

The candidate should have strong subject knowledge and teaching experience in:

English

Science

Primary classroom management

Activity-based and child-centred learning

Lesson planning, assessment and parent communication

Experience Requirements:

• Candidates with Cambridge or IB curriculum experience will be preferred

• Candidates with only CBSE curriculum experience must have a minimum of 5 years of primary teaching experience

• Experience teaching English and Science at the primary level is essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary class teacher for Stage 1 and Stage 2

• Teach English, Science and other foundational subjects

• Create a safe, engaging and nurturing classroom environment

• Monitor students' academic, social and emotional development

• Plan interactive lessons, classroom activities and assessments

• Maintain regular and effective communication with parents

• Collaborate with other teachers and school leadership

• Use digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate with B.Ed., D.El.Ed. or another relevant teaching qualification

• Excellent spoken and written English

• Strong classroom management skills

• Patient, creative, organised and child-focused
