As a Pharmacy Technician III, you will play an important part in ensuring patients receive medications safely, accurately, and on time. Working alongside licensed pharmacists, you will help prepare, compound, package, label, and distribute both hazardous and non-hazardous medications. National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT from National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required. 2. Registered Pharmacy Technician with NYS Office of the Professions, State Education Department. Education and Experience High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time pharmacy assistant or pharmacy technician experience. <h2>NOTE:</h2> 1. Incumbents must maintain the required New York State registration and national certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) as a condition of continued employment. 2. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards. <b>Preferred Qualifications:</b> The preferred candidate will have hospital experience, experience with automation dispensing cabinets, and experience specifically with Pyxis.
