Through initiatives like Kriya, Anveshana, Dhātu, </p><p>Krīḍā, Prerana, and Yuga, Prayoga reaches students, educators, and institutions across India, </p><p>anchored by the belief that curiosity is the foundation of all science. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Role Overview </b> </p><p><br /></p><p>The Business & Operations Manager — TAaaS owns the commercial growth and operational </p><p>continuity of Prayoga’s Testing & Analysis as a Service (TAaaS) business. You will build and </p><p>manage a structured pipeline of prospects across target industries, convert opportunities into longterm retainer relationships, and ensure day-to-day service delivery runs smoothly against defined </p><p>standards. This is a dual-mandate role suited to someone who is equally comfortable in a customer </p><p>conversation and an operational coordination meeting. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities </b> </p><p><br /></p><p>Business Development </p><p>• Build and manage a structured prospect pipeline across the Food & Beverage, </p><p>Pharmaceutical, Materials & Polymers segments, and Other Industry Segments. </p><p>• Run systematic outbound outreach to generate qualified meetings and advance prospects </p><p>through the sales funnel. </p><p>• Own customer qualification, proposal, and closing processes end-to-end. </p><p>• Convert one-off project customers into ongoing retainer relationships by demonstrating </p><p>consistent value. </p><p>• Identify, approach, and activate channel and referral partners to drive inbound business </p><p>development. </p><p>Operations & Service Delivery </p><p>• Maintain and operate the systems handed over by the PMO — including sample flow </p><p>management, TAT commitments, LIMS protocols, and customer onboarding standards. </p><p>• Coordinate day-to-day work of the inside sales associate and lab coordinator to ensure </p><p>seamless service delivery. </p><p>• Own the end-to-end customer experience, including escalation handling and resolution. </p><p>• Monitor operational performance, identify gaps, and escalate systemic issues for resolution. </p><p>• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and operational metrics. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Qualifications & Skills </b> </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Must-Have </b> </p><p>Science graduate in Chemistry, Food </p><p>Technology, Materials Science, Pharmacy, or a </p><p>related discipline </p><p>Prior exposure to laboratory services, Contract </p><p>Research Organisations (CROs), Testing, </p><p>Inspection & Certification (TIC) environments, or </p><p>scientific instruments businesses </p><p>8–12 years of experience, with a primary </p><p>background in B2B sales or business </p><p>development </p><p>Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information </p><p>Management Systems) or similar operational </p><p>tools </p><p><b>Good to Have </b> </p><p>Demonstrated track record of pipeline building, </p><p>qualifying prospects, and closing deals in </p><p>industrial or scientific segments </p><p>Experience identifying and activating channel or </p><p>referral partners </p><p>Experience selling into or serving Food & </p><p>Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or Materials & </p><p>Polymers industries </p><p>Working knowledge of sample management </p><p>protocols, TAT (turnaround time) frameworks, or </p><p>quality assurance in a lab context </p><p>Ability to own both revenue targets and day-today operational continuity in an early-stage setup </p><p>Comfort with CRM tools for structured outbound </p><p>outreach and pipeline reporting </p><p>Strong written and spoken communication skills </p><p>in English; comfort with customer-facing </p><p>escalation handling </p><p><br /></p><p><b>What We Offer </b> </p><p>• The opportunity to contribute to meaningful, research-led work in education — work that </p><p>reaches thousands of students and teachers across India. </p><p>• A collaborative, intellectually curious environment where ideas are taken seriously. </p><p>• Exposure to a wide range of disciplines — science education, research, communications, </p><p>policy, and more. </p><p>• A place where your work has visible, real-world impact. </p><p>• Direct ownership of a growing commercial vertical within a DSIR-recognised research </p><p>organisation, with clear scope to shape the TAaaS business from an early stage. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>How to Apply </b> </p><p>Send your application to </p><p> with the subject line: </p><p>“Application — Business & Operations Manager, TAaaS — (Your Name)” </p><p>Please include: </p><p>• Updated CV / Resume </p><p>• A brief cover letter (why Prayoga, why this role) </p><p>• A short note (2–3 paragraphs) describing a B2B deal you led from prospecting to close — </p><p>what the challenge was, how you approached it, and what the outcome was </p><ul><li>Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
