We’re seeking a Tax Manager to lead our Erie-based team, oversee tax return quality, streamline workflows, and build a strong, collaborative team culture. This is an opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role where your decisions matter and your ideas can make a difference.
What You’ll DoOversee tax return review, quality control, and final sign-off.Manage workflow, deadlines, and the seasonal tax preparation calendar.Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development.Establish and maintain high standards for tax return accuracy and compliance.Build an efficient, supportive, and high-performing team.Improve processes and take ownership of day-to-day office operations.
What We’re Looking ForActive CPA or EA credential in good standing.Strong tax review experience across Forms 1040, 1120-S, and 1065, including multistate returns.Proficiency in ATX or UltraTax; experience with other professional tax software will also be considered.Previous team management experience or a demonstrated ability to step into a leadership role.Strong communication skills and the ability to lead both in-person and remote team members.
