Position: Social Science Teacher Location: Rajkot, Gujarat Organization: Reputed Coaching Institute Employment Type: Full-Time Classes: 8th to 10th Standard Board: CBSE & GSEB Medium: English Medium About the Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher to join a reputed coaching institute in Rajkot. The ideal candidate should be able to make Social Science engaging, conceptual, and exam-oriented for students of Classes 8–10. Key Responsibilities Teach History, Geography, Civics & Economics to Classes 8th–10th. Deliver engaging and concept-focused classroom lectures. Prepare students for CBSE & GSEB board examinations . Explain difficult concepts using practical examples, maps, current affairs, and visual learning methods. Prepare and conduct class tests, assignments, quizzes, and revision sessions . Analyse student performance and provide individual guidance where required. Complete the syllabus according to the institute's academic schedule. Prepare students for board exams and competitive-level academic assessments . Maintain a positive, disciplined, and student-friendly classroom environment. Coordinate with the academic team regarding syllabus planning and student progress. Candidate Requirements Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Science / History / Geography / Political Science / Economics or a relevant field. 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred. Experience teaching CBSE and/or GSEB students will be an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English . Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills. Ability to explain concepts in a simple and effective manner. Passionate about teaching and helping students achieve strong academic results.
