We are expanding our enterprise technology delivery practice and are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager who can lead complex application development and digital transformation projects involving Microsoft Power Platform, enterprise integrations, AI/Copilot, CRM, workflow automation and low-code platforms.

Role Overview

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of technology projects, from requirement discovery and solution planning through development, testing, deployment and post-production support.

The role requires a combination of:

The ideal candidate should be technically strong enough to understand architecture discussions, review estimates and challenge technical assumptions, while being commercially and operationally strong enough to own the overall delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Project Ownership

Own the project from kick-off to successful production deployment. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones and timelines. Develop and maintain detailed project plans. Establish project governance and reporting mechanisms. Track project progress against agreed timelines, scope and budget. Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and to agreed quality standards. Manage multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously when required.

2. Technical Project Management

Work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers and Integration Specialists to ensure technical delivery is aligned with the approved solution.

The PM should be able to understand and coordinate projects involving:

Microsoft Power Apps Microsoft Dataverse Power Automate Copilot Studio / AI Agents REST API integrations SQL / relational databases Share Point Microsoft 365 CRM platforms Workflow automation Low-code/no-code platforms Cloud applications Third-party enterprise applications

You are not expected to be the primary developer, but you should be technically strong enough to understand what is being built, how it is being built, the dependencies involved and whether the proposed timeline is realistic.

3. Requirement & Scope Management

Work with clients and Business Analysts to understand business requirements. Participate in requirement workshops and solution discussions. Convert business requirements into actionable technical workstreams. Ensure requirements are documented and approved. Identify gaps, ambiguities and dependencies early. Control scope throughout the project lifecycle. Manage Change Requests and assess their impact on: Cost Timeline Resources Architecture Delivery risk

4. Project Planning & Estimation

Work with technical leads to prepare project estimates. Validate effort estimates and delivery assumptions. Build project schedules and resource plans. Identify critical-path activities. Define development, integration, testing and deployment milestones. Track actual effort against estimated effort. Highlight potential overruns early and recommend corrective action.

5. Team Management

Lead cross-functional technology teams consisting of:

Solution Architects Power Platform Developers Software Developers Integration Developers AI/Copilot Developers Business Analysts QA Engineers UI/UX resources Dev Ops / Cloud engineers

Responsibilities include:

Assigning tasks and ownership. Monitoring individual and team productivity. Removing delivery blockers. Conducting project reviews. Ensuring clear accountability. Managing resource utilization. Escalating performance or capability issues when required.

6. Agile Delivery

Conduct Agile ceremonies including: Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews Retrospectives Backlog Refinement Maintain product/project backlog. Track sprint commitments and velocity. Ensure stories have clear acceptance criteria. Monitor sprint progress and impediments. Coordinate releases across development, QA and production environments.

Experience with Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar project management tools is preferred.

7. Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary delivery interface between Techworkstalent and the client.

Conduct regular project status meetings. Present project progress, risks and dependencies. Manage client expectations. Communicate delays and corrective actions proactively. Handle escalations professionally. Coordinate requirement clarifications with client stakeholders. Obtain approvals/sign-offs at appropriate project milestones. Build strong relationships with client technology and business teams.

The candidate must be comfortable interacting with CXO-level stakeholders, IT heads, business leaders and enterprise technology teams.

8. Risk & Dependency Management

Maintain project RAID logs. Identify risks before they become delivery issues. Track: Risks Assumptions Issues Dependencies Decisions Develop mitigation and contingency plans. Escalate critical risks to leadership in a timely manner. Monitor cross-team and third-party dependencies.

9. Quality & Delivery Governance

Ensure development follows agreed technical and coding standards. Coordinate with QA to establish testing plans. Track SIT, UAT and production readiness. Ensure defects are appropriately prioritized and resolved. Coordinate UAT sign-off. Ensure deployment readiness checklists are completed. Coordinate production releases and hypercare. Conduct project closure and lessons-learned reviews.

10. Commercial & Financial Management

The Technical Project Manager will also have responsibility for protecting project commercials.

Track project effort against approved estimates. Monitor resource utilization. Identify scope creep. Flag potential margin erosion. Support Change Request estimation. Work with management on billing milestones and deliverables. Ensure projects are delivered within approved commercial parameters.

Required Technical Skills

Must Have

7+ years of experience in software/technology project delivery. 3+ years of experience managing technical projects. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle. Experience managing enterprise application development projects. Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong understanding of APIs and system integrations. Understanding of databases and data models. Understanding of cloud applications and enterprise architecture. Experience managing developers, QA and technical teams. Strong client-facing communication skills.

Strongly Preferred

Experience with one or more of:

Microsoft Power Platform Power Apps Dataverse Power Automate Microsoft Copilot Studio Azure Microsoft 365 CRM implementations Zoho / Salesforce / Dynamics Low-code/no-code platforms AI/Gen AI application projects Enterprise API integrations

The candidate does not need to be an expert developer, but should be technically conversant in these areas.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline. PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master certification is an advantage. Microsoft Power Platform certification is an advantage. Relevant technical certifications are preferred.

The ideal candidate should be able to walk into a client meeting, understand the business requirement, participate meaningfully in the technical discussion, question unrealistic estimates, identify delivery risks, coordinate the technical team and communicate the situation clearly to management.

and ensuring that nothing falls through the gaps.
