Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a strong technical communicator who works well in a team-oriented environment, especially during problem-solving, code reviews, and collaboration across hardware and software disciplines.
• We are looking for hands-on experience with C on embedded platforms such as STM32, nRF52, and ESP32, along with modern software technologies including JavaScript, Node.js, Flutter, GCP, and Firebase.
• We value experience writing Verilog for FPGA platforms such as Lattice and Altera to connect microcontrollers with custom hardware.
• We need a solid grasp of testing approaches and the ability to verify that complex systems perform dependably in production.
• We prefer practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Copilot while still maintaining strong architectural discipline.
• We want someone who enjoys learning how systems work at a deep level, can take ownership of open-ended challenges, and adapts quickly to unfamiliar technology.
• This role requires access to information covered by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. § 120.62.
• We require a bachelors degree from an accredited 4-year university and 1-2 years of relevant professional experience, or 5+ years of relevant professional experience without a degree.
• We require candidates to live within 30 miles of our El Dorado Hills, CA office and be available for a 100% on-site role.

• We design and build solutions spanning embedded firmware, IoT devices, web and mobile applications, and cloud backends.
• We work directly with hardware engineers, machinists, and clients to turn high-level concepts into reliable, production-ready systems.
• We implement thorough testing methods, including unit, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop testing, to support stability, safety, and performance.
• We use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to speed up execution while focusing our effort on system design, logic, and verification.
