2-5 Years Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented
Structural Draftsman / CAD Technician
with expertise in structural design and drafting. The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting engineering or architectural firms, with a preference for industrial projects, including steel/PEB construction. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed structural drawings and Good for Construction (GFC) documents in coordination with architects and engineers. Work closely with architectural teams to understand design concepts and translate them into technical drawings. Ensure seamless internal coordination between structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines at the schematic level. Utilize software tools such as
AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
proficiently. Experience with additional graphic software is a plus. Ensure compliance with applicable
town planning by-laws and development control regulations (DCR). Assist in the preparation of client presentation materials and project documentation. Maintain accuracy in detailing, material specifications, and construction processes. Collaborate effectively in a team environment to meet project deliverables within deadlines. Skills & Qualifications: ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in structural design and drafting within consulting engineering or architectural firms. Strong knowledge of
AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Experience with
industrial projects, including steel/PEB construction,
will be an added advantage. Understanding of
building construction elements, materials, and structural detailing. Familiarity with
town planning regulations and development control guidelines. Strong teamwork and coordination skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred: Candidates from Gujarat will be preferred.
