Key Responsibilities

• Monitor Google Tag Manager (GTM) tag health and tracking performance across the dealer network.
• Identify and investigate missing tags, tags not firing, unexpected tag firing, event collection failures, and Data Layer issues .
• Validate GA4 events, parameters, and event mapping against the ASC v1.1 taxonomy.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting using GTM Preview/Debug, Google Tag Assistant, and Chrome Developer Tools .
• Review monitoring and observability alerts and determine the severity and business impact of issues.
• Investigate traffic drops, event-volume anomalies, missing events, spikes, and dealer-level deviations .
• Validate key website events such as pageviews, form submissions, click-to-call, chat, digital retailing, voice, and video events .
• Determine whether issues are related to tagging, website functionality, data collection, third-party tools, consent, or expected behavior .
• Capture evidence and document findings for technical teams.
• Create, assign, and escalate incidents through Jira/ServiceNow or relevant ticketing platforms.
• Track issues through resolution and perform post-fix validation and retesting .
• Monitor day-over-day and week-over-week trends to identify potential tracking or data-quality issues.
• Maintain monitoring reports, issue logs, and operational dashboards using Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools .
• Collaborate with development, analytics, and technical teams to resolve recurring tracking issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve monitoring automation, alert quality, and operational efficiency .
