Education:

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Experience

5 – 10+ years of relevant experience in 3D System Design engineering design, preferably in manufacturing, pharma, biotech, or single-use systems.

Responsibilities

Core Work Area

• Strong knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Experience in product design, engineering drawings, GD&T, BOM preparation, and design documentation.
• Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Experience in design validation , prototyping, testing, and design improvement.
• Ability to independently handle design projects from concept through production.

Coordination:

• Coordinate with Process, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Vendor teams for design development, material requirements, manufacturing, and testing.
• Work closely with vendors to communicate design specifications and provide technical support during manufacturing.
• Participate in team meetings and provide project progress updates .

Documentation:

• Prepare and review Design & Development (D&D) documentation and maintain relevant records.
• Coordinate document numbering, document requests, and document control requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Design Engineering.

Required Skills

• AutoCAD
• SOLIDWORKS

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ISO/GMP requirements and engineering quality standards.
• Experience with single-use bioprocessing equipment/products, pharma/biotech applications.
