Senior Java Full Stack Engineers (w/strong CI/CD exp)

BCI is currently hiring two Senior Java Full Stack Developers with a strong background in SW design, development and CI/CD experience. Thisopportunity is centered on a Full Stack Java Development, with CI/CD experience serving as an important complement. The ability to take code from development through production is a fundamental expectation for this role. Role will be hybrid in the NY/NJ area. We can work on a W2/1099 basis only. No C2C or subcontractors. Open for USC, Perm Resident, GC, OPT EAD/STEM. No H1 or sponsorship available.

Job Description:• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.• Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.• Participates in design sessions to drive outcome-oriented solutions regarding architectural designs and technical solutions.• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills• At least 10+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer• Advanced Java/Spring Boot programming experience• Proficiency in automation and CI/CD methods and tools (Jenkins/Spinnaker)• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial xzbcwsv intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)• Practical cloud native experience (AWS, Azure)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills• Experience with and knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems• Experience with various testing methodologies (TDD, BDD, Unit, Contract, Component, Performance, Resilience Testing)• Experience with various testing tools and frameworks (Junit, Pact/Pactflow, Cucumber, Karate, JMeter/Blazemeter, Gremlin, Mockito, Wiremock, Hoverfly)•Computer Science Degree and high GPA in college
