Job description:(Woodbury, NY - Long Island)One of our most prestigious Commercial Property Management/Real Estate Investment/Development conglomerates (position located in Woodbury, NY – Long Island) now seeks high-powered entrepreneur; Commercial Real Estate Attorney (JD from accredited law school required and license to practice law in NY), focusing on diverse commercial real estate transactions.
Seeking 4+ years prior corporate, in-house, commercial real estate expertise handling various functions related to preparation of purchase/sales/operating agreements, financing, commercial real estate closings; documents, deeds, leases/amendments, renewals, refinancing, promissory notes, UCC filings, loans, resolutions, etc.Handle all tenant and landlord legalities.Must have experience with surveys and titles.Responsible for drafting of closing letters and coordinating all functions relating to closings of real estate sales and acquisitions.Conduct due diligence reviews and provide strategic advice on potential real estate transactions.Review all loans, documentation, and settlement statements.Draft and negotiate diverse commercial leases.Ability to review sale contracts and leases. This challenging role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing expertise in commercial real estate to drive business success.Collaborate with internal operations, financial teams, as well as senior management, as it relates to commercial real estate transactions.Provides legal direction on organization’s strategic initiatives, deals, and projects.Identify legal issues and develop legal strategies and solutions.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and strategic skills.Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Ability to independently multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and litigation procedures.Family office commercial real estate experience a plus.MS Suite experience. xzbcwsv Excellent benefits.
