<h2><b> Find your calling at Mercy!</b><p></p> Mercy is seeking a Clinical Education Specialist (RN) to support the onboarding, education, competency validation, and ongoing professional development of nursing and clinical co-workers. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and driving excellence in patient care through evidence-based practice and innovative learning strategies. <p></p> The Clinical Education Specialist serves as a key resource for nursing staff, leaders, and interdisciplinary teams by developing and delivering educational programs that promote clinical excellence, patient safety, and a positive patient experience. This position supports orientation programs, competency validation, performance improvement initiatives, and continuing education for both licensed and unlicensed healthcare professionals. <p></p><h2><b> Position Details: </b></h2><p></p><p></p><p> Minimum Requirements </p><ul><li><p> Bachelor's degree in Nursing with <b> 3</b><b> years of critical care nursing experience, </b> or </p></li><li><p> Associate degree in Nursing with: </p><ul><li><p><b>10 years of hospital nursing experience </b> , OR </p></li><li><p><b>5 years of hospital nursing experience and active enrollment in an RN-to-BSN program </b></p></li><li><p><b> At least 3 years of critical care nursing experience is a must. </b></p></li></ul></li><li><p> Current applicable state nursing license. </p></li><li><p> Current AHA BLS certification. </p></li><li><p> Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice and the ability to positively influence patient care delivery. </p></li><li><p> Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines. </p></li><li><p> Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. </p></li><li><p> Knowledge of patient care equipment and clinical technology. </p></li></ul><p></p><p> Preferred Qualifications </p><ul><li><p> Specialty certification or active pursuit of certification related to area of responsibility. </p></li><li><p> Two years of teaching or educational experience. </p></li><li><p> Additional life support certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, TNCC, and/or ENPC. </p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b> Why Mercy?</b></h2><p></p><p> From day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits - including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period. </p><p></p><p> Join a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters.
