Benefits: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays | Training | ProgressionAir Conditioning Engineer - Sutton-in-AshfieldAre you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking to get away from a mobile role and work permanently at one site?We're recruiting for a site-based Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading global Facilities Management provider, working at a large distribution facility in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.This is an excellent opportunity for an AC Engineer who wants the stability of a permanent site while still having plenty of variety in their working day.Your primary trade will be Air Conditioning / HVAC, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and fault finding. However, this is a Facilities Management environment, so we're looking for someone who is also happy to turn their hand to general fabric maintenance and routine building PPMs when required.In return, you'll receive a £43,000 basic salary, overtime paid at 1.5x, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and access to extensive training and career progression opportunities within a global FM business.What's on Offer?£43,000 basic salaryOvertime paid at 1.5x25 days annual leave + Bank HolidaysPermanent, site-based positionNo travelling between multiple sitesLarge commercial distribution facilityWork for a leading global Facilities Management providerExtensive training and development opportunitiesExcellent long-term career progressionOpportunity to gain additional qualificationsVaried AC, HVAC and building maintenance workloadLong-term, secure FM environmentThe RoleAs the site's Air Conditioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining a range of air conditioning and HVAC systems, completing planned preventative maintenance and responding to reactive faults and breakdowns.You'll work as part of the wider site engineering team, helping to keep the distribution facility operating safely and efficiently.Typical AC and HVAC duties will include:Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systemsReactive AC maintenance and breakdownsAir conditioning fault finding and diagnosticsServicing and maintenanceSplit and multi-split systemsVRV / VRF systemsAHUs and associated HVAC equipmentIdentifying and completing remedial worksRefrigerant checksEnsuring compliance with F-Gas regulationsCompleting job sheets and maintenance recordsUpdating CAFM systemsLiaising with site teams and customersMore Than Just Air ConditioningWhile Air Conditioning will be your primary trade, we're looking for an engineer with a genuinely multi-skilled Facilities Management approach.There will be times when AC work is quieter, and you'll be expected to support the wider engineering team with general building maintenance and routine PPM tasks.This could include:Basic fabric repairsDoors, handles, hinges and fixturesMinor carpentryBasic plumbing tasksMinor leaks and plumbing repairsGeneral building maintenanceVisual inspectionsRoutine compliance PPMsGeneral site maintenance tasksYou don't need to be a qualified plumber, carpenter or fabric engineer.What we're looking for is an AC Engineer who is willing to turn their hand to other straightforward maintenance tasks and work as part of the wider FM team.What We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will ideally have:F-Gas Category 1Recognised Air Conditioning / Refrigeration qualificationCommercial Air Conditioning maintenance experienceExperience maintaining split and multi-split systemsExperience with VRV / VRF systemsStrong AC fault-finding and diagnostic skillsPrevious PPM and reactive maintenance experienceExperience within Facilities Management or commercial building maintenanceWillingness to undertake general fabric and building maintenanceGood communication and customer-facing skillsA flexible, team-focused #J-18808-Ljbffr
