<p><b>Job Title :-  </b> Mechanical Lead Engineer (Expertise in Pipe stress Analysis) </p><p><b>Job Details </b> </p><p><b>Qualifications </b> </p><p><b>Preferred Industry Experience </b> </p><p><b>Years of Exp </b> </p><p><b>Software Skills </b> </p><p>B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering </p><p>DESAL, Water &amp; Environment Division; Industrial Projects </p><p>12-15 Years </p><p>CAESAR II, WaterHammer, WaterGEMS, Navisworks, Office tools </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities </b> </p><li><b>Team Lead </b>Lead and mentor a team of Mechanical Engineers for Pre-bid and Detailed design of Water, Effluent and Sewage Treatment PlantPlanning of engineering deliverables, execution, resource planning and allocationCollaborate with other discipline for proper integration of mechanical systemLead continuous improvement in team productivity and skill set </li><li><b>Mechanical Equipment Design </b>:Design and select mechanical equipment, including pumps, blowers, lifting equipment, penstocks, tanks, pressure vessels, and piping components (pipes, fittings, valves, strainers, etc.).Prepare datasheets and specifications for mechanical equipment and piping components for Request for Quotation (RFQ). </li><li><b>Tendering &amp; Procurement Support </b>:Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor offers, conduct technical comparisons, and provide recommendations to the procurement team. </li><li><b>Plant Layout &amp; Piping Design </b>:Develop plant layouts with utilities and design GA drawings and piping layouts for STP, WTP, and ETP process buildings.Design piping systems using materials such as GRP, ductile iron, HDPE, uPVC, stainless steel, and carbon steel for both above-ground and buried installations. </li><li><b>Pipeline &amp; Utility Systems </b>:Perform stress analysis of critical pipelines using CAESAR II and prepare load schedules for pipe support systems.Conduct hydraulic analysis for cross-country and in-plant pipelines.Design cross-country pipelines and steel pipes in compliance with international standards like AWWA M11, ASME codes, and other relevant guidelines. </li><li><b>Advanced Analyses </b>:Conduct surge analysis using Bentley’s WaterHammer.Design transmission pipeline &amp; distribution networks using WaterGEMS. </li><li><b>3D Modeling &amp; Drawing Reviews </b>:Guide teams in preparing L-section drawings in CIVIL 3D and generating 3D models of process buildings.Review and evaluate drawings and 3D models for accuracy and adherence to design specifications. </li><li><b>Client &amp; Consultant Coordination </b>:Interact with clients and consultants to obtain design deliverables approval.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.Participation in various workshops e.g. HAZOP etc. with client and consultant </li><li><b>Specialized Systems </b>:Mechanical design of pumping stations such as raw water intake systems, clear water pump houses, and treated water pumping stations for STP as per CPHEEO guidelines and Hydraulic Institute standards.Detailed engineering of piping and utility systems in water and wastewater treatment plants as per ASME B31.3 and relevant Indian standards. </li>
